St Simons Community Church, St. Simons Island, GA
St. Simons Community Church required a robust wireless microphone and personal monitoring system for their upbeat services, which feature plenty of movement, vocalists, instruments and set changes on stage.

The brand-new facility on St. Simons Island, located off the coast of Georgia, features an expansive 1,000-seat sanctuary, a 400-seat "Children's Clubhouse Theater," and a 300-seat youth "Rooftop Theater." The church decided to outfit each area with evolution Wireless because of its functionality, reliability, fidelity, and cost-effectiveness.

St. Simons Church had always relied on Sennheiser evolution mics from its very beginnings, making the decision to outfit the new space in the same series even easier. The main sanctuary boasts 13 wireless mic channels, which includes five ew 135 G2 handhelds with Sennheiser's acclaimed MD 835 capsule. Another three handhelds are outfitted with the MD 945 supercardioid capsules, one ew 372 G2 wireless transmitter reduces guitar cable clutter, and four beltpacks with ME4 lavaliers are reserved for spoken word. In addition, the band and vocalists depend on 11 Sennheiser ew 300 IEM wireless personal monitoring systems.

The "Rooftop Theater" boasts three wireless handhelds with MD 835 capsules, two belt pack transmitters and two ew 300 IEM wireless personal monitoring systems. The church's 10 existing ew 100 wireless handhelds and belt-packs with ME4 lavaliers are used in the "Children's Clubhouse."

What worship ministries are saying about Sennheiser...
"I also would like to thank you and Sennheiser for not only your assistance with the whole TVBD fiasco, but your support of the H.O.W. market in general. It is truly remarkable these days to have a manufacturer of the size of Sennheiser that allows its personnel to interact with the end-user not only through outlets such as CSC, but the rapid personal response to crazy tech guys like me! It is why I can recommend using your products so readily."
Jay Ballard, Director of Technical Ministries, First Baptist Church of Plant City, Florida
